Meet the Team Behind Scent Supply Collective

A closer look at the people, passion, and purpose guiding the fragrances you love.

At Scent Supply Collective, every fragrance, vessel, and product we launch is backed by a team that understands both the creative and technical sides of candlemaking and fragrance science.

We’re a small group with a big commitment: to support makers with high-quality materials and genuine partnership.

Today, we’re excited to introduce you to the people behind the brand—Keith, Delaney, and Lexis—and share how their experiences and values shape everything we do.

Keith: Building a Brand Where Art Meets Practicality

Keith, the owner of Scent Supply Collective, didn’t begin his career in the candle world.

His background was rooted in operations and sales, but a trip to Columbus, Ohio, changed the trajectory of his work. There, he was introduced to someone in the candlemaking industry, and something clicked.

“I was looking for a new opportunity,” Keith recalls. “When I found that this industry had both a technology to it as well as more of an art to it, I found that very interesting—and a good opportunity to bring to St. Louis.”

Today, Keith leads Scent Supply Collective while also owning and operating two candle bars. He loves the energy that comes from watching customers create something new.

“We really enjoy when people come together, and they’re creating and having a good time,” he says. “Their excitement builds off of our team’s excitement and then vice versa.”

A big focus for Keith in 2026 is expanding SSC’s offering.

“Most of our products today are focused on fragrances and containers,” Keith explains. “Our hope and desire is to be a full-service supplier to the candle industry.”

That includes adding wax and other everyday essentials—materials the team uses in their own operations and tests in real studio environments.

Keith is especially proud of SSC’s collaboration with manufacturers.

“Working closely with [our manufacturers] allows us to better understand trends, the current environment, and what’s coming,” he says. “It helps us bring products to life that support our stores—and our customers’ stores—moving into the future.”

But more than anything, Keith wants SSC to be known for partnership.

“It’s not just about the products,” he says. “We have a passion to help others grow. With the level of quality and expertise we bring, we hope customers find that we’re a good partner, not just a supplier.”

Delaney: Guiding the Brand From Behind the Scenes

If you’ve ever visited the SSC website or read one of our emails, you’ve interacted with Delaney’s work!

She manages the website, oversees marketing campaigns, and handles the strategic side of SSC’s online presence, from planning to execution.

“I do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work,” she says. “All the announcements and things you see on the website. I’m behind that.”

Her connection to the brand stretches back to 2017, when she joined the team at The Candle Fusion Studio. While earning her marketing degree, she continued doing remote work for the studio and eventually found a natural transition into Scent Supply Collective.

“It works really well for me because it’s still in the same realm of fragrance,” she explains. “I get to learn a lot about how other candle bars are operating and how they’re using their fragrances.”

For Delaney, fragrance is a blend of creative exploration and analytical thought.

“Fragrance is where creativity meets science,” she says. “Some days I’m testing new products or smelling new things. Other days, I’m working on something more analytical online. It’s meaningful because it helps different parts of my brain flourish.”

One of her favorite parts of SSC’s story is the community that has formed around it.

“The word collective isn’t just for show,” she says.

“We were very purposeful in how we named and built this brand. We want makers to feel supported from beginning to end, and to have a network where they can share resources with one another.”

She’s especially excited for the projects lined up for 2026.

“We put a lot of testing and deliberation into every product,” she notes. “I want customers to know how much intention goes into every release.”

Lexis: Curator, Researcher, and Creative Voice

Lexis curates our fragrance and vessel collections and helps drive product development. She also oversees trend research and keeps SSC ahead of what’s resonating in the fragrance and candle world.

Her journey began at The Candle Fusion Studio as well, where she managed two studio locations and led their social media.

“I’ve always been a creative,” she says. “Combining what I was doing at Candle Fusion with Scent Supply Collective just felt like the right next move.”

For Lexis, one of the best parts of the job is empowering other makers.

“There’s something really special about knowing that our fragrances and materials end up in a candle that becomes part of someone’s home, or creates a memory they love.”

What makes Lexis especially valuable to the team is her maker-first perspective. Because our team also operates two candle studio locations, we can test every product in real-world conditions.

“We understand what our customers actually care about,” she explains. “Scent throw, fragrance oil quality, burn time, aesthetics, cost—we’re dealing with all of those things on both the front end and the back end.”

Lexis still remembers the moment the first SSC order came through.

“It was really fun to see that and know the hard work was paying off,” she says. “It was exciting to know customers were about to receive a high-quality product they know and love.”

Her personal favorite fragrance combination right now? Kentucky Bourbon, Vanilla Bean, and Pumpkin Soufflé.

Looking toward 2026, Lexis is energized by SSC’s direction.

“We’re going to continue expanding product lines, sourcing high-quality fragrances, and building community-driven initiatives,” she shares. “I’m excited to keep bringing this community closer together.”

To Lexis, the heart of SSC is simple: “We’re not just a supplier, we’re a partner. We genuinely care about your business, whether you’re just starting out or hoping to scale.”

The Team Behind the Collective

Together, we're a team rooted in quality, driven by curiosity, and dedicated to supporting makers at every stage of their journey.

Every decision we make circles back to the same belief: the right materials can shape the future of a brand. And we're honored to play even a small role in the stories our customers are building.

“If we haven’t connected yet,” the team says, “please reach out. We’d love to stay in touch.”
